Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant - SEN SchoolLocation: Royston
Start: Immediate
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEN school in Royston, supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This role involves working with pupils who require personal care and have limited or no speech, helping them thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Role Overview:
Provide personalised support to students with PMLD, including personal care and communication assistance.
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and sensory-based lessons.
Encourage independence, engagement, and social interaction.
Build trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with students with PMLD or complex needs.
Skilled in personal care and patient, gentle, and empathetic.
Strong communicator, adaptable, and collaborative.
