Job descriptionCan you support a SEN child on a 1:1 Basis? Can you work full time? Can you travel to Spondon, Derbyshire?
Aspire People are looking for an outstanding KS1 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in year 1 with Autism. The child needs support in concentration, focus and behaviour. This is a fantastic opportunity a school lovely school based in DE21, Spondon, Derbyshire starting in end of September 2021 on fixed maternity cover of 1 year.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a minimum of six months experience working within an educational setting
Be able to provide targeted academic support to individuals requiring additional assistance
Have SEN training and experience
Provide an excellent example to pupils through encouraging positive behaviour
Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
