Job descriptionAre you an SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role in Birmingham?
I am currently recruiting for a TA to working within a Resource Base, supporting pupils with SEND and lower ability. This is located within a Primary school in South East Birmingham and is a full-time position starting from September until January 2021. You will be fully supported by the SENCO within the base and there will approximately be 6-12 pupils with 3 other TAs alongside you.
I have placed other TAs into the school and resources base and they all have very positive things to say about their time there with my most recent saying "The SENCO provides clear and engaging activities for the pupils and is always there to support us." The school really look after their staff both permanent and temporary and they are well known for having the learning and development of their staff as a core value.
As a full time TA the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected;
«Support the SENCO within the Resource Base
« Assist SENCO with pupil progress reports.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
«Work on a 1:1 basis with pupils.
