Job description
Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with SEN experience? Are you looking for part time work? Can you travel to Ripley, Derbyshire (DE5)?Aspire People have a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work part time X5 mornings per week in a one form entry school based in Ripley. The position is to start in Easter 2022.
The school believe that children will only learn if they feel secure and happy. It is of paramount importance that they help to raise the self-esteem of children so that they believe in themselves. The schools aim is to lead the children into developing as confident, independent learners with enquiring minds.
This Ripley based school is looking for a teaching assistant who is dedicated, confident and hard working. Their pupils know that they are valued for who they are and they are looking for someone who will be able to uphold that value. The classroom that the suitable candidate will be supporting is full of children of all different abilities and academic levels.
The suitable candidate will have:
- Relevant experience supporting a KS1 classroom
- Confidence to bring a positive manner to the classroom
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- 2 recent relevant references within the last 2 years
- Updated DBS on the online update service
