📅 Start Date: ASAP
🕐 Duration: Full-time, 5 days per week - ongoing until the end of the academic year
👧 Age Range: 5-11 years
🧠 Needs: Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) / Complex Needs
Aspire People is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN QTS Teacher to join a warm and supportive specialist setting catering to pupils with Severe Learning Disabilities and complex needs. This fantastic school provides high-quality, tailored education to children aged 5 to 11 and is committed to ensuring every pupil thrives in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
✅ What we're looking for:
A Qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience in SLD or complex needs settings
Alternatively, an EYFS-trained teacher with strong SEN experience and confidence delivering a sensory-based curriculum
Someone who is resilient, adaptable, and truly passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs
Ability to plan and deliver creative, multi-sensory lessons that meet diverse needs and abilities
🏫 About the Role:
Teaching small groups of pupils with a wide range of complex needs
Working closely with a skilled team of TAs and other professionals (e.g., speech and language therapists, physiotherapists)
Differentiating lessons in line with EHCPs and individual targets
Fostering communication, independence, and personal development
