Job description
Are you a hardworking SEN Specialist Mentor looking for a new position in Stoke On Trent?I am recruiting for a SEN School that accommodates pupils aged 11-16 years old with severe and complex Learning needs. The Students here have a range of needs including Autism, Communication difficulties, Syndromes and ESBD. This is a full-time position working within across all years.
The school have stated that they need a dedicated mentor that will support the Teacher and other SEN Specialists within the classroom and will work alongside the pupils with the HCP's. You will be confident at leading small group work with pupils, working 1-2-1 with individuals and also assisting the Teacher and class with general classroom duties.
This is a new client of ours and we are looking for candidates to set high standards for Aspire People.
As a full time SEN Specialist Mentor you will be expected to;
*Assist the Teacher within the classroom
*Support each pupil and work through their HCP's
*Support pupils reach their targets for GCSE and Btec Accreditation
*Lead small group work and 1-2-1 work with the pupils
*Provide progress reports for any group and 1-2-1 work
*Attend department meetings, parents' evenings and other school events.
