SEMH Qualified Teacher - Start ASAPAgency: Aspire People
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Qualified Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support in a specialist or alternative provision setting.
The Role:
* Full-time teaching position within an SEMH setting
* Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs
* Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
* Managing behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach
* Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with SEMH pupils or in a specialist setting
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
