We at Aspire are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in South London to recruit an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their successful Science department.
This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are committed to delivering outstanding teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
As the successful candidate, you will:
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and specialism.
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote curiosity and achievement.
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive department.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school (or suitable equivalent experience).
Strong classroom management skills and a passion for raising student attainment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
