School Exams Officer - Nottingham - £9 - £12 per hourOngoing/Temporary
Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced Exams Officers and Data Analysis Administrators to work within schools in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. The positions that we currently have vary from short term, long term contracts and temp to perm opportunities. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working as an Exams Officer in an education setting or have similar experience in a different sector. Applicants must also have an up-to-date DBS dated within the last 12 months or be willing to be £47.20 for a new one.
Duties include:
*Working on SIMS exam system
*Creating exam schedules for internal and external exams
*Liaising with headship team and, key curriculum leaders and data and exams managers and any other relevant staff regarding examination entries, coursework and assessment procedures and protocols
*Downloading all relevant base data
*Keep up to date with all JCQ rules, regulations, and deadlines
*Ensuring that all required information is obtained and submitted
*Post results
*Updating senior leadership with exam schedules
*Updating the school website and other systems
*Liaise with exam boards
*To co-ordinate access arrangements with SEN administrator for all internal and external exams
*Co-ordinate exam certificates when they arrive at the centre and distribute to students
*To input examination entries and results into school database systems as required
*To liaise with other schools to follow up on any missing data
*Developing and maintaining ICT-based and real-world systems for collecting, tracking, recording, and reporting academic assessment and attendance data
*Preparing high-quality and accurate reports
*Completing data returns to the Department of Education
*Overseeing the successful implementation of the Information Management System
