Reception Teaching Assistant - Full TimeLocation: Shard End, Birmingham
Contract: September 2026 - July 2027
Aspire People are looking for a committed and nurturing Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Shard End. This full‑time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about early learning and supporting children as they begin their school journey.
The Role:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age‑appropriate learning activities
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils
Help create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Assist with observations, assessments and daily routines
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements:
Relevant experience working within an early years or Reception setting is essential
Strong understanding of EYFS principles
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
