Job description
**Primary Teaching Assistant - Classroom & SEND Support**Aspire People are recruiting an **experienced Primary Teaching Assistant** to support both **general classroom learning and pupils with additional needs** within a primary school setting.
This role requires someone with **solid UK primary school experience** who is confident adapting their support to meet a range of learning needs.
**The Role:**
* Supporting the class teacher with whole-class learning
* Providing additional support to pupils with SEND within the classroom
* Working with small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis
* Adapting resources and tasks to suit individual learning needs
* Supporting behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
* Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Must have **recent experience in a UK primary school**
* Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
* Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Confident supporting across different year groups
