Job description
**Primary Teaching Assistant - Intervention & Booster Support**Aspire People are seeking a skilled **Primary Teaching Assistant** with strong curriculum knowledge to deliver **targeted intervention and booster sessions** within a primary school.
This role is ideal for someone who has **worked within a UK primary classroom** and is confident leading small groups to raise attainment.
**The Role:**
* Delivering small-group interventions in Maths, English, and phonics
* Supporting pupils who require additional help to meet age-related expectations
* Assisting with planning and adapting resources for intervention work
* Tracking pupil progress and reporting outcomes to teaching staff
* Supporting SATs preparation (KS1/KS2 where applicable)
* Providing occasional classroom support when required
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Must have **recent UK primary school experience**
* Confident delivering interventions independently
* Strong understanding of phonics and core subjects
* Able to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
* Organised and able to track pupil progress effectively
