About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive school community in Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of special educational needs.
Support pupils with diverse learning difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress effectively.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN (in a specialist or mainstream setting).
A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
