The Nursery based in Oldbury is dedicated to giving the children the best possible start in life and creating an environment where children are able to thrive and develop. They believe that Nursery is where children learn to love education and work to make it an exciting adventure for each child. The nursery works to create a stimulating environment where children can explore the world in safe and creative ways and build their confidence. They are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nursery practitioner to work alongside their team and to become a positive and supportive addition to the Nursery.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will begin working full time on a rota base, you will be working with a team of Nursery Practitioners supporting the children and completing learning activities.
As a Nursery Practitioner you will:
*Support the room leader in preparing educational activities
*Work in small groups leading activities and exploring with the children
*Get to know the children and learn how to support them academically, socially, and personally
*Discuss and put into action strategies to support the children
*Get involved in activities and encourage the children to explore and play creatively
The successful Nursery Practitioner:
*Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
*Will be caring, passionate, and hard-working
*A kind and caring nature
*Will have a strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and ability to plan for and track progress of key children
*Experience working in an Early Years setting
*Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
