Full Time Permanent 35 hours a week Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30
Grade 7 - £30,492 - £39,890

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a fantastic School based in Coventry.
The role is Permanent position and looking to start ASAP following a successful interview.
Day to day responsibilities:
*Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet items
*Financial reporting
*Daily bank reconciliation on iFinance
*Managing the purchasing card receipts and statements
*Monthly payroll preparation
*Monthly pension preparation and submission to the relevant providers
*Preparation and distribution of departmental budgets
*Assisting in financial management administration, advice, guidance and support to all staff, answering and dealing with day-day queries in a timely and effective manner
*Co-ordinating and supporting financial management project work
*Acting as the primary contact for the Schools in all payroll matters
*Providing information, answering employee questions about payroll matters
*Working closely with the outsourced payroll provider
*Processing and calculation all statutory absences i.e. sickness, maternity
*Assist in preparation and completion of year end tasks - P60 and P11d
*Calculating wages and salaries
*Support the pension submission and administration process
*Maintain employee records
You will need be/have to:
*Experience of working in a similar role for a minimum of two years
*Experience of working with MIS and/or Finance/Purchasing database including the manipulation of data and creating reports
*Using Excel to perform complex calculations
*Good knowledge of HR and payroll administration
*Strong Knowledge of statuary payroll
*A minimum of a level 2 qualification and a payroll/HR qualification would be desirable; or at least two years equivalent experience and a proven track record of performing to a high standard
