Job description
**Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support Role**Aspire People are currently recruiting an experienced **Level 2 Teaching Assistant** to support pupils within a primary school setting.
The school is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who understands the importance of supporting children's learning, confidence, and development.
This role would suit someone who has a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience/training) and recent experience working within a UK primary school environment.
**The Role:**
* Supporting classroom learning alongside the class teacher
* Working with pupils across different abilities
* Delivering small-group activities and interventions
* Supporting Reading, Phonics, Maths, and Writing sessions
* Helping pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning
* Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Recent experience within a UK primary school
* Good understanding of the primary curriculum
* Experience supporting intervention work
* Patient, approachable, and committed to pupil progress
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
