Job description
**Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Experienced Primary School TA**Aspire People are currently working with primary schools looking to appoint experienced **Level 2 Teaching Assistants** who can provide high-quality support across the classroom and contribute positively to pupil progress.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience within a UK primary school and be confident supporting both whole-class learning and small-group interventions.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being actively involved in the learning process and supporting pupils to achieve their best outcomes.
**Responsibilities:**
* Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
* Working with pupils in small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis where required
* Delivering interventions to support attainment and confidence
* Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources
* Supporting behaviour management and classroom routines
* Helping pupils remain engaged and focused throughout lessons
**Requirements:**
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Recent UK primary school experience within the last 2 years
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* Experience delivering intervention programmes
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Professional, adaptable, and reliable approach
