Job description
Aspire people are looking to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher to join a team of dynamic,compassionate, innovative and inspiring people for a lovely school based in NG11, Nottingham, Silverdale.
The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching children, can work on their own
initiative, are well-informed, inquisitive and imaginative. This is a full time position starting in September 2021 for a 1 year fixed term contract going permanent for the right person.
The school will give the suitable candidate autonomy and freedom to run their classes whilst being supported by strong and encouraging leadership.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND KEY TASKS
* Responsibility for teaching a small class of Key Stage 2 pupils with the freedom to
develop and deliver an engaging, tailor made curriculum that meets the specific
needs and interests of your class
* Researching new topic areas, teaching strategies and maintaining up-to-date subject
knowledge, and devising and writing new curriculum materials
* Marking, assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and
attainment of pupils, including personal and social needs of pupils
* Selecting and using a range of different learning resources
* Managing a class budget
