KS2 Primary Class Teacher - RichmondFull Time Position | Immediate Start - Summer Term and On-Going
Location: Richmond, South West London
Salary: £200-£265 per day, dependent on experience

About the Role:
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS2, ensuring pupils remain motivated and supported in their learning journey. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while fostering a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
You will demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum, creativity and effective classroom management skills, supporting pupils in developing their core skills in literacy, numeracy and wider learning in line with the national curriculum.
The position will begin at the start of the summer term with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Deliver high quality teaching across core and foundation subjects in line with the national curriculum
- Support pupils in preparing for KS2 SATs assessments, including targeted revision and intervention where needed
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and procedures
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and leadership teams
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school-specific policies at all times
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a KS2 primary school setting
- Strong knowledge across the primary curriculum
- Familiarity with phonics programmes and early reading strategies, particularly for lower KS2
- Experience supporting pupils with KS2 SATs preparation desirable
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Adaptable, flexible, and confident working in a new environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
