Job description
**KS1 Primary Teacher - Key Stage 1 (Year 1 / Year 2)**Aspire People are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic **KS1 Teacher** to join a supportive primary school. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys developing core skills and building confidence in early learners.
**The Role:**
* Full class teaching responsibility within KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2)
* Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Supporting pupils' development in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy
* Preparing pupils for KS1 assessments (including phonics screening where applicable)
* Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS
* Experience teaching within KS1
* Strong phonics knowledge (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters & Sounds)
* Positive classroom management and engaging teaching style
* Committed to raising attainment and pupil confidence
