We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Telford on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity for the right candidate to secure a long-term permanent role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about early years education and helping children build strong foundations in learning and development.
Key Stage 1 Education
The Role
You will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging and inclusive teaching that supports every child to achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
Supporting development in phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics
Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
Working closely with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience within Key Stage 1 preferred
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Confident classroom management skills
Ability to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment
Passion for early years education and pupil development
Positive, adaptable, and reflective teaching style
