Job description
Are you an Intervention Teacher based in Derby? Are you looking for a new challenge working with KS1 or KS2 pupils?I am currently recruiting for an Intervention teacher for a primary school based in Kilburn, Derbyshire. This position requires working with KS1 and KS2 pupils who need extra support catching up due to local lockdown. The school is looking for a good quality teacher starting from Wednesday 4th November 2020 on a full-time basis until January 2021 with the potential to lead into a permanent position.
I have been working with this school for over 5 years now and have and excellent relationship with them. I have placed many teachers into the school, and they all have very positive things to say about their time there. They pride on their quality of teacher and strong relationships through the department. The school really look after their staff both permanent and temporary and they are well known for having the learning and development of their staff as a core value.
As a full time, Intervention teacher, the school will expect you to:
- Teach BOTH KS1 and KS2 pupils
- Have previous experience working in an Intervention role
- Track and Assess achievement of pupils
- Be enthusiastic and encourage pupils to achieve their best
