History TeacherFull Time

I have been working with this excellent school for the past 5 years and have built up an exceedlingly good relationship with them. I have assisted in recruiting many teachers for the school and they have all had very positive things to say about the time they have spent there. The school has a most wonderful ethos and philosophy in regard to their teaching methods and value all members of staff equally whether they are temporary or permanent. Every member of staff I have placed there has always been happy to remain or go back when positions become available and have commented that the pupils who attend the school are the most motivated pupils they have ever worked with.
I am looking for an History specialist who is seeking a new and exciting challenge, someone who wants to be part of a strong department and make a difference. The role is a full time position teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils. The role is available from January on a full time basis.
As a full time History teacher I would ask that you go in and make your own mark in the classroom, offer something that little bit different, offer pupils that motivation and encouragement they need, make lessons enjoyable and captivating.The school encourages teachers to be individuals who can bring a zest for their subject and make lessons fun and interactive.
You will be expected to carry out the full duties of the role which include:
Teaching History to KS3 & KS4
Assess, mark, plan and deliver good quality lessons
Assess individual achievements and also the needs of all the pupils
Provide progress reports, attend parents evenings and department meetings
I welcome applications from NQT's, overseas teachers and experienced teachers but you must hold QTS.
