Our SEND schools in Liverpool are seeking individuals like you to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism, complex learning needs, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

The Role:
Provide dedicated, consistent support for children with a range of needs
Assist with implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs and personalised support plans
Collaborate with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals (e.g., Educational Psychologists, Behaviour Support Teams)
Help pupils develop essential self-regulation, social, and learning skills
Encourage positive behaviour through clear routines and expectations
Maintain a calm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
Individuals who can build trust-based relationships with children, especially those who have faced trauma or adverse experiences (ACEs)
A warm, professional approach - showing empathy while keeping strong, healthy boundaries
Excellent communication and de-escalation skills - using patience, empathy, and creativity to regulate emotions and behaviour
Passion for inclusive education and emotional well-being, with a drive to make a positive impact every day
The ability to provide two years' worth of employment references
