Aspire People, part of GCA Recruitment Agency, is currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for flexible opportunities in schools from September 2026.
Whether you're looking for regular work, a few days a week, or short-term assignments, we can offer opportunities that fit around your availability and open you up to longer term placements.
The Role -
As an HLTA, you may be required to:
* Support teaching and learning across different year groups.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover classes when required.
* Work alongside teachers and support staff to provide high-quality learning experiences.
* Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Manage classroom behaviour confidently and effectively.
* Adapt to different school environments and routines.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community.
What We're Looking For -
We're keen to hear from HLTAs who:
* Have relevant HLTA experience or equivalent classroom experience.
* Are confident leading lessons and managing a classroom.
* Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Are adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic.
* Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Have a genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
