Are you a recent English graduate with a UK Bachelor's degree looking to gain hands-on experience in schools?

Aspire People are currently recruiting a bank of enthusiastic and motivated English Graduate Teaching Assistants to support schools across Manchester from September 2026.
We have long-term opportunities available in:
* Primary Schools
* Secondary Schools
* SEN Schools
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and looking to develop their skills within a school setting.
The Role
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students academically within the classroom
* Work alongside class teachers to provide classroom support
* Deliver 1:1 interventions and small group sessions
* Support students with literacy and reading development
* Assist students with SEN, including Dyslexia
* Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment
These roles are also ideal for English graduates with tutoring experience who are looking to expand their classroom-based skills and experience.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* A UK Bachelor's degree in English or a related subject
* A passion for supporting young people in education
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain a new DBS
* References covering the last 2 years
