Cover Supervisor - CaerphillySeptember Start
Are you confident leading a classroom and highly skilled in behaviour management? Are you looking for a rewarding role in secondary schools across the Caerphilly area from September?
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Caerphilly. Both long‑term, full‑time placements and flexible day‑to‑day supply roles are available for candidates with strong classroom and behaviour management experience.
The Role
September start
Long-term and short-term positions available
Opportunities across secondary schools in Caerphilly
Daily rate of £120 - £150, depending on qualifications and level of experience
Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
Respond confidently to challenge and low-level disruption, in line with school behaviour policies
Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
Uphold safeguarding procedures at all times
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons

Requirements
Experience working with young people in a secondary school or youth setting
Strong behaviour management skills - essential
Confidence supervising whole classes independently
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration is required
A calm, resilient and professional approach
A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing
