Job description
I am currently recruiting for College Supervisors to work at a School in the Coventry area. The position requires people who are proactive, personable and have the ability to work in a team supervising and supporting children throughout the day.As a full time College Supervisor, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so therefore you will be responsible for:
«Supervision, organisation and safeguarding of children within the corridor, playground or dining hall environment
«Exhibit a calm and reassuring manner
«Be passionate about making a difference to every child
«Value a team working approach and be a team player
«Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
«Be punctual and reliable
«Maintain effective working relationships with your line manager and fellow College
«Supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the day
«Form positive and professional relationships with the students. Engage with them and supervise, guide and assist them with practical, behaviour or peer issues
«Ensure any Child Protection disclosures or pastoral concerns are dealt with sensitively and referred appropriately in line with Safeguarding policy and procedures
«Establish safe and proper behaviour by appropriate intervention and in line with academy policy and procedures. Refer issues to appropriate members of staff where relevant
«Take immediate action to attend to sickness or first aid issues in line with academy guidelines
«Report any health and safety concerns to your supervisor or appropriate member of staff in line with academy guidelines
«Role involves a considerable amount of standing and walking
You will be supported by me, Rob Holland. I am Aspire People's Senior Office & Technical consultant and have been supplying non-teaching staff to schools in Coventry for the past 5 years.
