We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Cardiff on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Chemistry up to KS4 within a collaborative Science department and make a lasting impact on pupils' achievement and confidence.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to secure a longer-term position, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
* Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
* Plan, assess and support pupil progress effectively
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to department success
Who We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialism in Chemistry or Science with strong Chemistry subject knowledge
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
* EWC registration or willingness to obtain registration
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
