School Caretakers & Site Supervisors Needed - Start ASAP!Are you an experienced Caretaker or Site Supervisor looking for your next role in a school setting?
Do you want flexible, hands-on work across schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) and surrounding areas?
Aspire People are recruiting reliable, proactive and experienced Caretakers/Site Supervisors to support school sites across the region.
We have both long-term, full-time roles and flexible short-term opportunities available.
The Role
* Opening and closing the school site, ensuring security procedures are followed
* Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks
* Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained
* Conducting routine health & safety checks and reporting hazards
* Managing site security, including alarms and access control
* Supporting with room setups for school events and activities
* Liaising with contractors and monitoring work on site
Who We're Looking For
* Experience as a Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or Facilities Assistant (school experience desirable)
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
* Ability to carry out general maintenance and repairs independently
* Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload effectively
* Good communication skills and a professional approach
* Enhanced DBS (preferred) or willingness to obtain one
