Job description
Are you an outstanding Art and Textiles Teacher looking for a new challenge in South Leicestershire for January?The school I am recruiting for are looking for a specialist who wants a new challenge and wants to be part of a strong department. The job is a full-time position, teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils. Having experience of teaching KS4 Textiles is essential. The job starts in January and will be until the end of the academic year. There is a possibility for a permanent position.
I have been working with this school for a long time and have an excellent relationship with them. I have placed many teachers into the school, and they all have very positive things to say about their time there with my most recent saying "The SLT team are really supportive. They have a clear vision with staff development and career progression." The school really look after their staff both permanent and temporary and they are well known for having the learning and development of their staff as a core value.
As a full time, Art and Textiles teacher the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected to;
«Teach Art and Textiles to GCSE.
«Have a passion for teaching both subjects.
«Have the highest aspirations for the school's learners.
«Be creative, organised, and driven.
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
«Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & dept meetings.
