I have been in Education Recruitment for over three years now and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love the unpredictability of each day. Every day is different, weather you are out visiting schools, attending school fayres or interviewing teachers for different roles. I believe in giving all my schools a fantastic service and going that extra mile. One of my biggest tips would be, always be honest!

What Do You Do at Aspire People?

I am a recruitment consultant for Leicester Primary. My role is to recruit Teachers, Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants and Sports Coaches. I have to build relationships with new and existing schools whilst providing a fantastic service at all times.

What Do You Get a Kick out of in your
Role?

It’s the buzz in a morning when 5 different schools will ring you and they all want the same teacher or the same year group filling and you have to juggle everything around. When you have sorted it all out and the schools are happy it gives you a great feel of satisfaction. Always getting feedback from a school that a candidate has done a great job.
