Students from The Nuneaton Academy visited the Caterina Ward at George Eliot Hospital to deliver Christmas presents to children. Students baked cakes and sold them to raise money so they could buy presents for the ward, they were greeted at the ward by Jean Whittakker MBE who was delighted about the presents. The Nuneaton Academy students plan on continuing the fund raising and hope to organise a Easter Fayre.

 
Ex-student from Hartshill School has won a animation award. The prize was a chance to work with Aardman Animation Studios home to Wallace and GromitBen Hennessy had to create a animation the competition was for Red Bull and the animation will be showed as a advert on channel 4 soon.  
 
Abbots Farm Infant School are holding a scholastic book fair from 23rd to 27th January. Go along and see the wide selection of books they have available for sale.
 
Eastlands Primary raised over £281 for charity. The school had a day where all the children went into school in their pyjamas looking like they had just got out of bed.  
 
William Shakespeare’s former School, King Edward VI School, Stratford-upon-Avon announced they are planning to admit girls in to sixth from. It will be the first time female
students will be taught there in 460 years.
 
The Coleshill School is celebrating after a student come second in the regional finals of future chef 2012. the competition was held at Worcester College were Tom Hollick cooked 2 dishes which had to be a meal for 2. Tom was put forward by his teacher who believed he could produce a winning dish with just £6.
