Nominated for Student Employer of The Year by a Student

Aspire have been nominated for the NASES (National Association of Student Employment Services) Student Employer of the Year Award.

It is given to organisations that employ, support and develop students above and beyond minimum expectations.

Aspire People employ trainee teachers and students who work part-time around their studies as cover supervisors. It was actually a cover supervisor that goes to Staffordshire University that nominated Aspire People for the award.

Director and owner of Aspire People said: "We have worked with students from Universities across the Midlands for a long time mainly helping them get teaching work experience or placing them in to schools as cover supervisors. I am so proud that one of our students has nominated Aspire People themselves. Our student employees are a valuable part of our service, always willing to go that extra-mile and work hard for our clients. In return for all their commitment we offer them lots of support, mentoring and long term prospects once they have finished university. Many of our cover supervisors are eager to enter in to the teaching profession and the most committed we help to get on to a GTTP (Graduate Teacher Training Program). Sometimes it is nice to be recognised for all the hard work you are doing."

Organisations will be short-listed in April and a ceremony will on July 11th will announce the overall Student Employer of the Year
