Description:
A well-run and friendly primary school in Birmingham are looking for a Key Stage 2 class teacher to effectively cover a Year 6 class full time.
The school is an average sized primary with excellent leadership and a friendly, supportive staff body. This well-run school got a 'good' in their most recent OFSTED report and pride themselves on producing continuous development of both pupils as well as staff.
This post requires an effective teacher with considerable KS2 teaching experience as well as experience of Key Stage 2 SATs. The successful applicant will have proven knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum, with particular reference to Key Stage 2 as well as a proven ability to plan and teach inspiring lessons.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
-English Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-Have an in-depth undertsanding of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum and KS1 SATs
-An understanding of child protection, safeguarding policy and related procedures
-The capacity to identify and target specfic, individual needs
-Dedication towards consistently raising standards
The successful candidate will also preferably:
-Have the ability to create a positive learniong environment my motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
-Ability to be innovative
