Description:
You must be capable of the following:
* Preparation of materials and equipment for lessons as requested my teachers
* Preparation of resources and equipment for assessed exam work
* Issuing of chemicals, materials and equipment in accordance with agreed safety guidelines e.g COSHH requirements
* Ensuring safe storage of chemicals and liaising with site staff following spillage of chemicals
* Ensuring safe disposal of chemicals and micrbial cultures following specified procedures
* Construction of simple apparatus
* Maintenance of microscopes and other equipment for science department
* Carrying out safety checks and other equipment for science department
* Stock control
