QTS Teacher of Religious Education
A school in South Birmingham is looking for a passionate Fully Qualified Teacher Religious Education for a Maternity Cover. The post is to commence from Sept 2011 and run until the end of the academic year. The Religious Education Teacher would need to be able to set the schemes of work, mark, and plan and prepare and take on all of the duties of a Full-time teacher would take on.
The school is renowned for a supportive and proactive approach to teaching and the Humanities Department has been very successful.
The right RE Teacher should have the following:
* QTS or at least 6 months teaching experience
* Teacher of RE to Key Stage 3 and KS4
* Be prepared to plan, mark work, get involved in departmental meetings and act as a Form Tutor
* Be resourceful, enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate.
* Be able to communicate with their consultant
* Work as a team within the department and the school as a whole
