A nursery school in Sandwell are looking for an experienced Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to act as a Children's Centre Teacher on a part-time basis to cover a maternity leave.
The candidate must have relevant experience, as well as being able to manage a budget and past roles that involved leadership and management of the Foundation Stage.
Candidates will be expected to have the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to work alongside other professional staff, parents and the wider community
- Ability to plan and manage children's learning using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Good written and verbal communication skills with children, staff and parents
- A knowledge of inclusion, diversity and equality issues
- Some knowledge of current educational/legislation practies and procedures relating to Early Years
- Ability to establish effective relationships at all levels, deal sensitively with people and resolve conflicts
- Ability to prioritse and manage own time effectively, work under pressure and achieve challenging professional goals.
All candidates are subject to List 99 checks, must provide a recent Criminal records Bureau check and also be able to provide two references from each of their last two teaching posts.
