DT TechnicianPosition - DT TechnicianLocation - BirminghamSalary - TBAContract - Temporary/ Full timeAspire People are looking for hard working, reliable DT Technicians to work in a number of positions in schools in the Birmingham area*Willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks to help staff and pupils*Work well under pressure to meet deadlines and retain sense of humour*Excellent communication on skills, both verbal and written*Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload*Great self motivation*Duties may include as a DT Technician:*To assist Technology staff in developing appropriate resources for Teaching and learningUnder the direction of the HOD, to ensure that all Health and safety requirements are met*To assist in administrative duties in accordance with Teacher workload agreementTo assist teaching staff in promoting and raising the profile of DandT within and outside the school*To support the development and delivery of computer Aided Design and Manufacture in DandT*To prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons*To maintain and carry out weekly maintenance duties including: inputting data, production of registers and class groups and preparing teaching material and booklets*To maintain and monitor stock controlOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
